Early this morning the Kinde area experienced a power outage which required school to be cancelled for the day. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this circumstance over which there was no control. Even though the power was restored prior to the start of the school day, we had to make the decision based on the outage that was occurring @ 6:00 a.m. when the buses are getting on the road and staff report to open the building for the day. Without power it would not have been safe to bring students into the building as we would not be able to respond to an emergency should one occur. We live in a world where almost everything is controlled digitally and without power the school staff does not have access to student information, phones, computers, lights, heat, etc. which we need in order to keep your children safe and secure when they are in school. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding.
